The Alliance des Burundais du Canada had the opportunity to participate in a session of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Prevention of Genocide and Other Crimes Against Humanity.

Canadians respond on when and how the government should consider spending its responsibility to protect civilians both locally and abroad. The All-Party Parliamentary Group and the Honourable Irwin Cotler convened a roundtable in Parliament with survivors from Burundi, Rwanda and Syria, as well as parliamentarians, veterans and UN experts, to discuss Canada’s role in transformative approaches to conflict.
