On this day when we celebrate the 59th anniversary of Burundi’s Independence, the Alliance des Burundais du Canada (ABC) would like to wish every Murundi & Murundikazi a very happy Burundi Independence Day.
Burundi bwacu, ragi rya ba sokuru
Every time we celebrate Independence, we remember the relentless and continuous struggle of our valiant heroes, in search of freedom for every Murundi & Murundikazi whatever their ethnicity, origin, social class, etc…and above all the struggle for a united and progressing Burundi.
Although we are far from our homeland, and despite the current situation of the Covid, our country continues to vibrate in every fiber of our body. We are also called upon to carry this heritage (iragi rya ba sokuru) beyond Burundi’s borders.
Horana ubumwe n’abagabo n’itekane.
Sagwa n’urweze, sagwa n’amahoro meza.
